Stormy Weather

This morning Hurricane Patricia is making landfall in Mexico. We saw this Hubble image of the Starburst Galaxy Messier 94 and it got us thinking. There are obvious similarities. Is the universe just a stormy globe similar to earth and other planets but on a vastly larger scale? Obvoiusly we are not scientists but is seems bad catastrophic weather happens everywhere.
